Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using JobMarker. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

JobMarker is a job application tracking platform that provides tools for managing job applications, generating AI-assisted cover letters, and organising job search activities. The service is provided "as is" and may be updated or changed at any time.

2. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use JobMarker. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated means to access the service at a rate that would degrade service for other users.
  • Submit content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Use AI-generated content in ways that misrepresent your qualifications to employers.

4. AI-Generated Content

JobMarker uses AI to generate cover letters and other writing assistance. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any AI-generated content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable — we do not guarantee its quality or fitness for any particular purpose. By using AI features, you take responsibility for how the generated content is used.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed through Paddle. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service. You may cancel at any time; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods.

6. Free Plan Limitations

The free (Freemium) plan is limited to 10 job applications. If you exceed this limit, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan to add new applications. Existing applications remain accessible.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to JobMarker (resumes, notes, job descriptions). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the service. We do not claim any rights over your content and will not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The JobMarker name, logo, product design, and underlying software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR USE CASE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JobMarker operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
